Farewell Friend
As a storm rolled in, we calmly said goodbye to Alistair.
It was as if the sky opened up and welcomed him home.
He was Alistair to many, but just Ali to family and friends.
He was a gentle giant to people he knew well,
and a bit of a grump to those who did not.
We simply adored our gentle giant and miss him so very much.
We loved his smile and his little “hello” grunts the most.
We dearly miss having him in our store and lives.
Alistair will forever remain in our hearts.
